For those who come to my LJ, I often talk about my favourite Geoffrey character, Zachary Welch, an unexpected role of a clueless husband, a lovely man, the most awesome guy he never played, with David Helfgott !

So, during my long vacations, I edited all the extracts where Geoffrey appears, just for you, my lovely rushies !!!!
But forgive the poor quality of the edit, WMM worked in a crappy way... for a change !.. ;)

Sir Francis Walsingham... one of the most proficient espionage-weavers in history, excelling in the use of intrigues and deception to secure the English Crown. He is widely considered as the "Father of Modern Intelligence". (from Wikipedia !)

And this his his first appearance in the film...
OH MY !!!... This man is just a dream !!!!
And even if you don't like costumes or historic films, (like me, for exemple !) you just can't resist !!!!

I saw the beautiful "Lantana" a few days ago, and I didn't resist to share with you some extracts...
Today is just the first... some other will come if you're good girls ! ;D

A brief summary of a part of the story... because it's also a detective story... a pretty good story with a lot of false directions, wrong suspicions for wrong guilties... I really enjoyed this film !

Valery (Barbara Hershey) & John (Geoffrey) are a sad couple... They lost their 12 years old daughter, murdered 2 years ago...

John is a cold and enigmatic man, who works at universtity. But behind his coldness, he hides the best he can his brief...
Valery is psy. One of her client is a gay who told her he's with a married man, to who he brings tenderness and other stuffs his lover misses in his couple...

The first extract I chose is when Valery begins to become persuaded that the married man IS her own husband...

Yesterday evening, I watched the beautiful and poignant "Swimming Upstream" where Geoffrey plays a REAL BASTARD !
He's terrible as a father who is just indifferent, (nearly cruel) with one of his boy... but after all, his character is a miserable man... Pityful...
But OMG !!! Never mind !!! Geoff REMAINS Geoff !!!

Yesterday evening, I gave up (for a moment) my Mood-Themes to watch "Lantana".
It's a pretty good film about 4 couples... how a couple can stand the test of time, the treacheries, the death of a child... terrible ! And all of that very well completed with an investigation with a lot of false directions, wrong suspicions for wrong guilties... I really enjoyed it !
And geoffrey is just touching in his role... even if he plays a cold character... but you can discover all the painless and the suffer deep hide inside of him... AW !
