Oh, I love this scene in the movie where he sees Jack again for the first time. He looks so strong, powerful and very confident and really tall!

I think this character goes to show what a truly great actor Geoffrey is. I mean before this movie you would mainly think of him as a dramatic actor. And Geoffrey himself seems so un-Barbossa like. He's effeminate, sensitive, and cultured. Who would have thought he could pull off this bad ass, sexy rogue of a pirate captain out of thin air? He really is a brilliant actor. And this character truly is my all time fav!!!!!

I love that scene too !!!! As all the scene where these 2 best ennemies are together !!! ;)

Mmmmh ! So true !!!! He just looks like a genuine and powerful Captain, amongst his men ! Everyone obey him without argueing !!!!

And I totally agree with what you say about Geoffrey's skills to play everything !!!! His carreer proves it several times !!! That's the mark of a great actor !
It's Gore Verbinski himself who said, about Geoffrey, that he was the only one who could give Barbossa all this "weight"... if you know what I mean... "he's able to play and celebrate the 2 dimensions of this character..."
But you can hear it by yourself at the end of this vid ! ;)

No no !!! All (or mostly !) caps are mines, now I know how to cap films ! ;))
But at the beginning, I used caps from other users ! with credit, of course ! ;)
