C'était un de ses premiers rôles, un petit film Australien, "Dad & dave", sur une famille de modestes paysans qui s'installent dans le bush... Une comédie burlesque !

Geoffrey y est irrésistible, en amoureux timide !!!! XD
Tu peux voir un extrait ici, où, se croyant seul, il s'exerce à danser pour inviter la fille de ses rèves !!! J'adore ce passage !!! XD XD

It's a very short interview of Geoffrey when he's got 'Chikita" on his shoulder, and this bloody monkey never stops to move hysterically on him, hiding him from the interviewer... and at a moment, to prevent from falling, he just wrapps its tail around Geoffrey's neck... and Geoffrey, as the great professionnal he is, even doesn't stop talking !!!! XD

I heard about chemistry with animals in general... but with a monkey would be specific ?!...

I just mean that it speaks great volumes about Geoff's ability to concentrate and not let himself be distracted with the little monkey on his shoulder all the time. I remember that Gore Verbinksi and Keira were particularly impressed with how professional he was about the monkey misbehaving in CotBP.

The monkey looked scared with the all commotion going on around her and seemed to want to jump to her trainer. I'm also impress how Geoffrey was able to conduct an interview with the monkey fidgeting nervously on his shoulder, but I'm sure he was quite use to it after working with the monkeys for so long in POTC.

What really impresses me is how Geoffrey tolerated the monkeys so well throughout the filming of POTC. Not only was he patient, but he wanted to keep the monkey in the scenes when even the director had enough. Any other actor would've said "Bloody monkey!! Get this d*mn thing off my shoulder!! I refuse to work with it!!!"

Geoffrey may have gotten frustrated at times but he dealt with it and pressed forward. He really is a true professional and a patient man...that says alot about his personality. :))))
